A LITTLE HELP, RIGHT HERE
Let’s get you
back to watching.
Start with the answer below, or send our team the details of what you see.
Where do I find my MAC and Device Key?
Open Kensat Player. They appear on the welcome screen and in the device section of Settings. This is the App MAC shown by Kensat, not the address printed on your router.
Do I need an account to manage my playlist?
Use Manage device and enter the App MAC and Device Key. You can access the device directly without a separate customer account or an admin assignment. A playlist PIN, if configured, still applies.
Why can’t I proceed from the welcome screen?
Your app access must be active and a playable playlist must be saved. Ask your reseller to check both, then return to the app and try again.
The channel stopped. What should I do?
The current Android beta retries an interrupted live channel automatically. If it still cannot play, try another channel and check your connection. A provider outage, expired playlist or connection limit may need your provider’s help.
How do Android app updates arrive?
The Android app can check for the release published by Kensat. You can also open Settings → App updates → Check for updates. Android asks you to confirm the installation. You can install the downloaded APK over your existing app.
Does Kensat Player include channels?
No. The app plays your own compatible playlist. App activation and a provider subscription are separate.
Can I use it on Samsung, LG or iPhone?
Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, macOS, Roku and Linux editions have not been released. Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets can use the Android APK. A compatible Android TV box or stick can connect to a television.
What should I send to support?
Describe the issue, your app version and device model. Send device codes privately through the setup or support form. Do not post your Device Key or full playlist link publicly.
