# Set up Kensat Player

1. Choose the version for your device on the [downloads page](https://kensatplayer.com/downloads). Android requires Android 6.0 or newer. Windows requires Windows 10 or 11 x64.
2. Install and open the player. If Android requires an installation permission for your browser or downloader, turn it off afterwards.
3. Use the App MAC and Device Key displayed by the app in the device manager linked from the website. Keep those details private. An authorised reseller can help.
4. Save a compatible playlist. App access must be active and a playable playlist must exist before proceeding.
5. Return to the player and choose Proceed or Check activation.

## Updates

On Android, open Settings → App updates → Check for updates. Install the update over the existing beta app to retain local data. Windows beta updates are installed manually.

## Fire TV

The Android APK is for compatible Android-based Fire OS devices. Models with other operating systems cannot use it.
